Has anyone been watching "America: The Story of Us" on the History Channel? So far it's a really good series.

I decided to pass on it during it's first run because I am following another HC series; Ancient Aliens. I'll catch re-runs of A:TSOU later.

So far it's been an excellent series, my only complaint would be the people that they interview. Donald Trump and Michael Douglas and people like that? They wouldn't be my first or even fifth choice to interview for a series on American History.

It's good and they do interview others, so passing on it would be a mistake (since it's free and you can change the channel at will lol). I just wish they had left a few of the "celebrity" interviews out. Sheryl Crow on the History Channel? Really? lol

I really thought this series would be good, I'm really disappointed though in the interviewerees that they picked. They didn't pick historians, they picked Al Sharpton, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Michael Douglas, Sheryl Crow and the like.

 

Very disappointing.
