Not including forums, how often do you or someone else talk about Star Trek in your actual lives? Everyone in my family knows that I am "the Trekkie". I get asked about or talk about Star Trek almost every day. Just yesterday, my brother was playing a game with a character named Odo. A conversation came up about that!

at least once a week I get teased about Star Trek and this site. I am on line during breaks or lunch mostly here. One of the guys told one of the others this was a porn site and of course the dipstick believed it. I had to show almost the whole site to show him it wasn't.

I tend to talk about it quite frequently with my mother. Usually in a "I'm watching TNG, ask me that question later" way, though.

Today, my sister-in-law showed me her Kirk Hallmark Father's Day card that she was getting her dad. That's the Trek conversation so far for today! Two days in a row talking about something Trek.

(I'm not a dad, but I always think about getting those Trek cards for myself. they are cool!)

Somewhere between every day and at least once a week.

A couple weeks ago M and I were at a B-Ball game. We're sitting behind this couple, the man continually keeps braiding the woman's hair between the fingers of his hand around her shoulders. For HOURS he does this. M and I try to ignore it, occasionally casting glances of annoyance at the ritual going on in front of us.

Finally I cannot stand it any longer and say to her; I may throw up on you! She totally cracked up.

Well, I don't know about frequency-but practically everyone who knows me well, knows I am a definite Trekkie. My besty friend at times would say, referencing his daughter, if she spied some ST program, that there I was!''....

Outside of the internet, not very often actually. Maybe once a month or more often if there's something in the news or something's happening like the when the movie came out. Everyone in my family knows that I founded this site so any time there's something that happens in the world of Star Trek they'll talk to me about it. They're all fans of Star Trek too though, so it's not in a 'teasing' sort of way. But unless there's something that brings it to their minds, not very often.
