VaBeachGuy 12 Posted February 1, 2009 It was 6 years ago today that the United States and the World lost the crew of the Space Shuttle Columbia. We at STARTREKFANS.NET would like to take a moment to remember them and their loss.
Voyager recruit 0 Posted February 1, 2009 I was at the Nasa website earlier this week, going through the terrific photos from Hubble, but I did not realize it was coming up. To lose one's life in pursuing space exploration does make one a hero...and in the most hostile literal environment of all. I remeber seeing the report one morning on one of my sets...and still recall where I was, when hearing about Challenger. God rest the souls of those brave men and women...from all the flights, back to Apollo One.
