We've done this poll before but the other one goes back to 2005 and with the passage of time people get new monitors and new computers so I want to do a fresh poll on this.

So the question of the day is, what's your screen resolution? You can select more than one answer if you use more than one computer.

Personally I use multiple computers, it just depends on which room I'm in at the time. My main computer uses 1280x768, my secondary computer uses 1024x768 and my laptop uses 1440x900.

If your resolution isn't listed then please post what it is after voting "Other".

I was wondering who the 640x480 was lol

That was me, yes... my old comp is... well, very old. LOL. Win 95 doesn't even give you any options for a higher screen resolution than 640x480, at least not on my old comp! :vbg:

Yeah, 640x480 is pretty ancient now. With the large monitors that are quickly becoming the "norm" I think 800x600 will go that way too before too long. I haven't used anything below 1280x720 on my main computer for at least 3 years.

Yeah. It's the perfect res for me because the text is not so tiny I need to squint or put on glasses to read it.

After using it a while I see we probably would have been ok with a 20 inch screen but I figure we're all set for any future upgrades the web has in store.
