Goodbye Yesterday, Hello Today!

When I woke up, I felt...

Very tired. I was hungry.

Why?

I had a lot on my mind and I could not sleep. I woke up later than breakfast time.

 

Today I wanted to...

Finish my essay off.

Why?

So I can achieve good grades on my work and pass my first year of my University course. I have 4 more assignments. If I finish these before the deadline, it will make me happy. It will make marking my assignments easier for my tutors.

Today I saw...

My brother. He was happily dancing to some music on the TV. My dad. He was laughing at a photo I put of him on our computer desktop.

Why?

This made me happy to see them happy because I like to help people and make them feel good about themselves.

Today I learnt...

That I deserve things I want, as much as anyone else. That, to be sucessful I need to take control and not let yesterday affect today. That people will and do judge, they will say nasty things, but I need to accept what they say and do not let it affect me. That people do trust me because I listened to a recording of my last session with my Mentor and he said "See, I trust you, because if I didn't, I wouldn't have told you the things I said earlier". That I am capable of so much more than I think I am. That I have more friends than I thought.

When I woke up, I felt...

Very, very tired. And empty.

Why?

Ferchis woke me up at 6am yesterday morning, and although he told me I could sleep in, I couldn't.

Being foreign, he still can't adapt to our body clocks.

 

I trusted Ferchis and I he was a good friend, but he has gratuated this year and is going back to his country. I'm sad to see him go.

 

Today I wanted to...

Sort out some of my paperwork.

 

Why?

So I can finish my work off on time.

 

Today I saw...

Our beautiful garden. A breathtaking view from my dad's van window whilst driving down a bank.

 

Today I learnt...

That being lazy is not the answer to a successful life.

That I need a job, desperately.

That I must get my phone fixed tomorrow.

When I woke up, I felt...

Very, very tired and sick

Why?

I couldn't sleep properly because I have a bad cold.

 

Today I wanted to...

Finish cleaning the rest of the house.

Why?

So dad will be happy and the place would be a lot fresher for visitors.

 

Today I saw...

A gorgeous little kitten in our back garden! I fed it some cat meat. It was so sweet and friendly and ....cute! AWWWWWWWW!

 

Today I learnt...

Not to joke about being pregnant because people take me seriously.

That having a cold is more annoying than a brother.

That responding to a conversation with anger instead of love is not a good way to talk to mum.

Tired but happy

Why?

I was talking to my dad and his girlfriend until 1am, but when I woke up the room was full of sunshine and happiness!

Try out the new vaccum cleaner

Why?

It has been in our porch for a week and the place needs a clean.

 

Today I saw...

The computer screen, our beautiful front and back gardens in the sunshine, the messy kitchen!

 

Today I learnt...

Not to interfeer with the University's personal Wiki if I don't know what I am writing about.

The overdue payment of my Web Hosting package can be paid for without a Paypal account.

Britian isn't all about rain, rain, rain.

My dad and my mum are so happy with their partners, it was so sweet to see them together!

Why?

Dad was forcing me to get out of bed at 8am

Check how much money I have in my bank

Why?

I am almost bankrupt

 

Today I saw...

The front and back gardens, the computer and two Pigeons flying around happily on the front lawn. Aww so sweet!

 

Today I learnt...

Never to answer dad with the word, "OK", because he thinks I'm being rude to him!

Anxious

Why?

I was lying in my bed thinking of my Student Loans that still haven't got sorted, I move back to University on the 14th.

 

Today I wanted to...

Get a haircut

Why?

My fringe is as long as my dad's back lawn. Now that's saying something!

 

Today I saw...

The mess on my bedroom floor, the empty cereal cupboard, and a really cute spider on the wall in the hallway! It was stripy, so cute!

Oh and my brother's fish in the fish tank, I fed them this morning.

 

Today I learnt...

That 1am bedtime is not classed as an early night. That the bread is not good for toast.

That my dad's "Rocketfuel" coffee is what I need every morning. Don't normally drink coffee but heck, this gives me the kick-up-the-butt feeling! Woah!

Angry

Why?

I was woken up by a phonecall off my mum and was worried it would wake my neighbours up whom have been out partying til 4am this morning.

Get a little plant for my room

Why?

My University room is pretty boring without it.

The new plant I bought, my friend's neighbours, and the beautiful view from our kitchen window up at the trees Blissfull.

 

Today I learnt...

That to stay awake at 5pm, you need an earlier night!

That socialising takes away the homesickness feeling that sometimes creeps up.

 

 

I start my University course, second year tomorrow. I am so excited to get back into studying again. How are you, today? Lovely of you to drop by.

Why?

I was going to have my 2nd lecture at University after 4 months Summer break. I liked today's lesson.

Get my laundry done

Why?

My clothes are still in the suitcase!

But?

l didn't. I was too lazy, it's a 3 hour job to get a load done!

My nutty lecturer Faramarz , my mate Nicola and Nicole getting moved in class for talking, and the beautiful view of the blue sky view from my window.

 

Sun just gone down now though, I am out to my Buddhist meeting class.

Today I learnt...

That Faramarz's lecture's are easier and more fun than Jim's.

To stop having late nights MSNing with people! It makes me tired for lectures!

 

 

Out for a Dharma Buddhist class and meditation now, bye!

I wasn't tired! I took what I learnt from the past few days and had earlier nights.

Go to lectures!

Why?

My lecturer Jim is wonderful and kind and ace at explaining things to me. He takes things at a pace and will do anything for anyone no matter how far it takes him out. It is nice, from me as a Student Representative, to hear that they really enjoy the modules with him!

My ex lecturer Matthew (I can't help but crush him, he has a babyface!)

Like somebody was hammering on my head!

Why?

I was asleep and my headboard is right next to my door and the caretakers knocked on to change my broken chair.

Go and get my hair cut

I am going home for the night and I need to look half decent

When I woke up today, I felt...

Tired and very negative.

Why?

I was out for my University friend's 21st Birthday bash and we went out clubbing until 3am. I wasn't drunk, although I did have some drink just to share the fun with everyone. I went and got off with a guy and got a love bite on my neck! I was told my mate has pics of me kissing, which I am regretting a lot right now!!!

 

Today I want to...

I originally was going to go and help premote the Buddhist Centre with my Sangha.

But?

I decided to have a lie in! And I've been grumpy and lazy all day.

The big black cloud view out of my window. I haven't been through the door!

That everyone get's embarrassing pictures and videos taken, it's all part of going out!
