Wishfire 2 Posted December 30, 2006 I posted this at ST.com, but I wasn't getting any good answers (or, really, any at all), so I figured I'd try here... How was it decided to name the female Caretaker Suspiria? Was she named after the Italian horror film of the 70's?

Theunicornhunter 2 Posted April 29, 2008 Apparently Suspiria is a latin word that means: to sigh, draw a deep breath, long for, yearn for, yearn after The long for or yearn for seems to make sense given Suspiria's situation. It's also a title of a Longfellow poem - probably based on the same latin meaning.
