Thank you for having me. My favorite series is TOS and I am enjoying the remastered episodes that are currently being aired. My favorite movie is Star Trek II- The Wrath of Kahn. But I love all of the shows and movies. Even the odd numbered movies. I'm always looking for new boards to check out and share my love of Trek with my fellow fans.

I look forward to some very interesting and stimulating conversations.

Welcome aboard Gummy! Nice to have another TOS admirer here. I also appreciate Wrath of Khan, though I'm not always as kind to a few of the odd numbered movies. Keep posting and enjoy the site!  :nono: B)

Actually, I've been here for some time. I just haven't really started posting until recently. As you can tell, I've gone from Ensign to Lt. Commander in the span of a few days. This is an interesting board with varied opinions of various topics. I enjoy and appreciate the views of others and you'll find that I am respectful towards those views.

And thanks to all for welcoming me aboard. It's great to post with such dedicated and knowledgeable fans of the greatest franchise in entertainment history. :mad1:

Only in the last six months did I really start posting on boards. At my other sites, like nyyankeefans.com, I was made a mod after two months of posting. I also post at Nexus Trek and here. This is a great deal of fun and I learn new things everyday on the different boards.

I wonder if this board gets spammed as much as my yankeefans board does. I am deleting at least four spam posts everyday.

Like Kor, I joined (as a former poster only at ST.com) and didn't start posting for a year here. This is the only place I regualrly post. It's a great board and can use more members, so it's great to see you posting!

I think the administration (and mods) do(es) a great job here to keep spam off the boards as much as possible.

Well then welcome back.

Around here, bombs are quickly dropped on spammers.

Usually though the trouble is because new members come here fresh from boards which have a TOS but don't enforce it, they have some bad habits which need purging. Once they see we mean it they either straighten up or eventually get the boot.

Our biggest problem has been with spambots, the Trivia forum is closed because they set up shop in there posting links to porn and other crap, so far a way of stopping them hasn't surfaced. Thankfully they haven't chosen a different forum to hit.

I know what you're saying. I find that I am deleting spam usually in the early morning hours. I am up at 3:30 am and log on to see what's been posted in my absence. That's usually when I find the spam. Since my return to this board, I haven't seen on spam post. Your mods do a terrific job of keeping the board free of that junk.

My complements to your staff.
