Guys, I'm doing a project on characters in advertising. But they can't be things like Barbie or Spiderman cos they are characters themselves. So far, the mascots I have picked from are:

 

Um Bongo

Nesquik

Frosties

Honey Loops

Chocos

Fruit loops Toucan Sam

Coco Pops raccoon

Corn Flakes

 

Can you think of any packaging or anything that uses a character? I know a lot of american boxes have them on but I don't know the names...

 

Any suggestions on characters? Please help.

I was going to add (even though like the Pets.com dog he is irritating IMHO) Max Headroom. But when I was searching info on him to share here... I found out he had a tv show, so I guess he would not count per se. Also, he was originally played by Matt Frewer.. you may remember him as Berlinghoff Rasmussen (from the TNG episode A Matter of Time)
