A l t e r E g o 9 Posted July 8, 2003 Sometimes. I was born and raised on country music, the good stuff! I went through a rebellious stage, denied ever liking it but I’ve grown up and can admit it. Every once in a while I hear new country that I enjoy but the Old Timers dwell in the memory of my heart.
JTKirk1 0 Posted July 8, 2003 I had to vote no I just cannot stand it, heavy metal all the way.
RikerChick 5 Posted July 8, 2003 Yup, love country. As well as jazz, pop, alternitive, heavy metal, 80's stuff, oldies......pretty much anything besides rap or classical.
Mr.Picard 12 Posted July 8, 2003 Country music is not very popular here but I know what it is all about and I don't listen to it, I don't like it very much. But it's okay if someone likes it :) Mrs. Captain Picard
VaBeachGuy 12 Posted July 8, 2003 The reason I ask the question is I am going to do another realted poll but I want to see if there are enough country fans to make it worth the posting effort lol.
Data 0 Posted July 8, 2003 Sometimes. I go back and forth between country music and golden oldies.
mrskirk 0 Posted July 9, 2003 I like country, but I prefer the newer country-I suppose you could call it "electric" country-The Kentucky Headhunters, Garth Brooks, Travis Tritt, and Joe Diffie to name a few.
Turak 0 Posted July 9, 2003 I listen to it on occasion, usually just Garth Brooks. I'm more into Emo and Punk...that kind of sound.
Goose 0 Posted July 9, 2003 Stardate:213518.8 Well in general I dont listen to it but there a few songs here and there I like.

Riaan 0 Posted July 9, 2003 I voted sometimes. I don't regularly listen to country music, but if its playing on the radio and I like it, I'll listen. I prefer Big Band music and Carolina Beach music. And of course there's Classical and movie soundtracts.
Yillara Skye 1 Posted July 9, 2003 Sometimes. I go back and forth between country music and golden oldies. I voted yes, though I too go back and forth between the two when I am listening to my radio. Even though, when it comes to my CD's then Ilisten to Oldies, rock, new age, jazz, swing, bluegrass, country, 80's, classical, anime, ect. ect.
ensign_beedrill 0 Posted July 15, 2003 Yes! All the time! Whenever I can get my hands on a radio! I have a huge WMZQ (country station in Washington D.C.) banner hanging on my wall. Without country music, I don't know where I'd be. Country makes the whole world better. I can't say enough good things about it. It keeps me going when I have bad days. It's great stuff. My favorite artists are Garth Brooks and Jo Dee Messina. And I am Bob Kingsley's biggest fan! (Alright, not really. There are probably people who are bigger fans than I am. But I just felt like saying that.)

ensign_beedrill 0 Posted July 16, 2003 Ah, well, Murphy and Cash were the best. I have their autographs! They were signing pictures at a concert I went to. I've also got Jon Anthony's. I love WMZQ! But, unfortunately, I've moved from there. I still listen to it from time to time on the Internet, though. *sigh* It was the best station.

That stinks, this area has some of the best radio stations, but the internet is a wonderful thing! I'm glad you can listen to it one way or another
Yillara Skye 1 Posted July 16, 2003 We have three stations we can usually pickup...fun thing is you can sometimes catch a song you just missed by quickly turning the dial a tad.. two stations are quite close together 99.1 and 99.9FM. The third is 107.3FM
EmilSoong 0 Posted August 3, 2003 The only thing is, I only like a FEW songs, and that's really not saying much. I mostly like what on my Prince of Egypt Nashville soundtrack, and I also enjoy some of the songs by : Reba, Dolly, Dixie Chicks, Shania, Faith, and some of the guys that I don't know the names of.
