An alright episode. Not as sad as I was lead to believe. There have definitely been sadder. One has a good story, but I didn't feel I got to know him enough to cry for his death. It's just like crying for every red shirt that died in the original series. I did feel sympathy for Seven though. One was kind of like her son.

And some things I forgot to add, this is the first episode where we (I) see a sonic shower. Oddly enough it has nothing to do with water, it's a bright light. And who else do we see in front of that light but a topless B'Elanna! Oooness. I'd post the pictures but they're all for me

reminds me a lot of the TNG episode "I, Borg" about Hugh. This is another story about a Borg that has individual emotions. Needless to say, this is a familiar plot that is recycled over and over again on Trek. I give it a 4 because I thought it was a pretty good episode anyway. I do agree that it just wasn't as sad as it tried to be. Interesting idea about Seven seeing herself smile at her reflection at the beginning and seeing herself frown at the end.

Though not into the Borg per se, I found the ep a good one. I liked One-played by the same actor who did a memorable Vulcan, Mostral, on Enterprise some years later.
