Not the best two-parter of the series, and in all pretty weak. I can't feel bad for the holograms because, well, they're holograms. They're photons held together by force fields, programed to intake information and save it. Worf's holodeck programs where he kills countless enemies have never been a problem to anyone. That's because holograms are computers with personalities, nothing more. Since the Doctor is a main character, he's learned a lot and choses his ethics, so we're used to him and sometimes forget he's not human. But that's different... Plus Voyager OWNED the Hirogens so that's cool too.
