Neelix dies and then comes back, and then tries to kill himself. He learns that he won't go to a forrest when he dies and he can't live with that thought, but the power of one little girl, one little big Naomi Wildman, brings him back to his normal Neelixy self.

2. Somehow, Neelix's whole train of thought seemed pretty illogical. Just didn't make a whole lot of sense. And of course it would have to be the child who saves him. Very predictable episode, and quite possibly the worst religion-bashing episode of the Star Trek franchise that I've encountered so far, because Neelix's whole thought process made absolutely no sense.

putting my personal feelings aside, I thought this episode was very interesting when Neelix has a "crises of faith". It wasn't that predictable to me, and it could have went down an even more predictable road but didn't. I thought this was a really good story and had a lot more substance than I thought it would. 5
