Realizing that Voyager is vulnerable after repeated Kazon attacks, Captain Janeway decides that the best way to end Kazon attack is to make a peace alliance between them. With the help of a Trabe named Mabus, Janeway plans to settle peace talks between all three governments and end attacks forever, but things don't always go as well as planned and those you trust may not be as trustworthy as you may think...

"Alliances" is a fantastic episode. I loved the twist at the end and shows it's hard to tell who you can trust.

It was a pretty smart idea to ally with a Kazon faction, though I knew all along that it would never happen. And I was a bit surprized that the Trabe turned out to be so hostile, but I doubt we will ever see them again. But that's just my crazy thought...

I merit this as a 4. It was actually pretty obvious to me who the saboteur was, though at one point, I thought, maybe not....

It seemed obvious, that there could be never be an alliance with the Kazon. They'd demand protection, which means that Voyager would never be allowed to leave the area, without reneging on the alliance.

Good episode overall.
