HRH The KING 0 Posted June 21, 2005 Superb episode which concentrated on four junior officers. These are basically the people you see pointlessly and aimlessly walking around the corridors of a starship in Star Trek. Who would have know they could actually talk and you know...actually DO something interesting? But they could and we got a superb episode. Find it and watch it. The scene where Picard delivers his announcement of the death of the impossibly cute Sito Jaxa is heartbreaking. Special mention goes to Shannon Fill who delivered a stellar performance here. Gold Standard. Rating =
GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted September 22, 2007 I gave it a 1. This mediocre tale involving 4 whiny junior officers that are up for promotions was imo very boring. The only saving grace of this ep is Shannon Fill's performance as the very alluring Bajoran Sito Otherwise, it was a dud.
ussvwbeetle 0 Posted February 4, 2008 I liked it. It finally showed what life is like for Junior officers.
youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted April 18, 2008 I give it a solid 5. This was just tremendous. I love the pairings that went on. If Guinan had been there to be a senior to Ben, this would have rocked even more. But I loved this episode. Perfect.
SeeingEyeBorg 0 Posted April 18, 2008 I agree with the two preceeding posts. I mean, as viewers, we take the "Senior Officer life" for granted. And Guinan should totally have been in this ep. Sito's death was genuinely saddening; but I think that the writers should have left her "dressing down" from Picard as a genuine lecture. It would've given the whole ep much more meaning if he hadn't done the whole "I requested you"BS. It took away from the awesome-ness of the "I don't even know how you got on this ship." So anyway. Four. It would've been a three, but Taurik is hot. Maybe even hotter than his twin. He's got the classic Vulcan good looks, Tuvok-ish sarcasm, and the whole technological genius thing going. Ooh! *shivers*
