Stephen of Borg 2 Posted June 17, 2005 (edited) A routine baryon sweep turns into a hostage situation Picard and his senior staff is invited to a party for a Commander Hutchinson who is an expert with small talk. At the party, Data learns to imitate Hutchinson so he can learn about small talk, this is one of the funniest moments out of the entire series and a must see for all who haven’t seen it yet. “Starship Mine” is great, very few TNG episodes aren’t. We see the return of Tim Russ as a special guest in this episode. He does an excellent job, although a minor role in this episode. But my hat goes off to Marie Marshall as Kelsey. She played an excellent villain in this episode. You really do end up hating her character by the end of the episode and hope she gets what’s coming to her. For being a very funny and exciting episode, “Starship Mine” is a must watch for every Trek fan. ***** out of ***** Edited June 17, 2005 by Gamera
HRH The KING 0 Posted June 18, 2005 Nice action packed episode with Picard single-handedly defending his ship against terrorists who have come aboard the empty Enterprise to steal a valued substance. Picard's sabotage and guerilla tactics are truly enjoyable to watch and it gives the stoic and scholarly captain a military aspect to his character. Very good. youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted January 20, 2008 5. Loved this episode. The action on the Enterprise, the comedy of watching Hutch and Data, and everyone else in the room. Just a solid episode altogether.
