HRH The KING 0 Posted June 3, 2005 Very dumb episode. It was a nice twist that Leah Brahms was actually quite a nasty person in general, completely different to LaForge's holodeck image of her. But come on? An alien thinks the Enterprise is it's mother??? Dumb, silly, stupid. Rating =
GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted December 23, 2007 Poor Geordi never has any luck with the ladies, maybe he should design himself a really good holo-program or something  An interesting ep with the Enterprise as a surrogate mother to a space creature. I gave it a 4. Imo,it was a new idea at the time and was quite cool to watch.
youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted January 4, 2008 3. The idea of life that can exist/swim freely in space is always an interesting concept, but other than "Encounter At Farpoint," there really haven't been many good executions of that concept in Star Trek. And had it not been for Q, "Encounter At Farpoint," might not have been the awesome episode it was. Bringing back Leah Brahms, only this time, the real person, was awesome. That scene on the holodeck is one of those that's so embarrassing, that the audience feels embarrassed with and for Geordi. But his breakdown at the end of that scene.... just a bit wimpy. Still that plot was the better half of the story.
