While on a planet searching for a crashed Xindi ship; a mutagenic virus transforms Archer, Hoshi and Malcolm into lizard like creatures called Loque'eque. Phlox has to find a cure, and T'Pol may be the answer

"Extinction" is a very touching episode that is full of emotion. The story is a combination of the TNG episode "The Inner Light" and the episode when Geordi LaForge turns into a lizard because of a virus. As I said, this gets emotional, the lizard creatures that the crew turn into just want to go home.

Loque'eque Archer as a dream where there are thousands of Loque'eque living in happiness and peace, what he finds is less appealing. Excellent

Another 4 from me. Really solid, but for some reason, it just didn't grab me as much. Perhaps making the Loque'eque as intelligent as they were in contrast with some of their more primitive instincts that were displayed made it seem unusual. Love how they brought the peach back in at the end. Nicely done. Did not see that coming. Good episode overall, just didn't wow me enough for the fifth star.
