Well, one of them is optional and I doubt I'll take it, another is simple since it's U.S. History and that's always been a favorite subject of mine. It was originally meant to be degrading, but it is no longer considered a condescending remark, as many brief wearers also refer to them by this slang term for this type of men's underwear. Mentioning "tighty-whities" could be a case of tmi - too much information. Personally, I prefer them myself. In addition, I'm wearing dark socks, blue pants, and a striped t-shirt.
