Would you support the Gene Roddenberry Memorial Highway?

 

Although the movement to have Interstate 10 from city limit-to-city limit in El Paso, Texas (birthplace of Gene Roddenberry) named the "Gene Roddenberry Memorial Highway" was stymied in the 2003 Texas Legislative Session, the Project will continue on until the 2005 Texas Legislative Session.

I wonder if they're someplace we could go to voice our support. Does anyone know if there's an online petition or something? Do any of the members from Texas know anything about this?

I live in Houston and have Passed through El Paso. I support the idea. I wrote my congressman and senator. Hopefully they vote yea.

I looked on wikipedia under I-10 in Texas and didn't see any reference to it one way or another. I think it failed the second time.
