starsinmyeyes 0 Posted June 15, 2004 Definitely "The Offspring", and "The Host" - this episode is sad as there is such heartbreak and disappointment for Beverley. :)

LoveMalePecs1 0 Posted June 29, 2004 (edited) Sad TNG episodes! --------------------------- 1." Skin OF Evil" 2. "Bonding" 3. "Host " 4. "Dark Pages" with Mrs. Troi was one of the more darker ones. ============================= :( Edited June 29, 2004 by LoveMalePecs1

Datalover_06 0 Posted July 15, 2004 Oh yes......The one with Data's daughter, Lal, nearly broke my heart. I feel... What do you feel, Lal? I love you father! (Pause) I wish I could feel it with you. I will feel it for both of us. Thank you for my life. Something like that. :o I also thought a Picard episode, Inner Light, was melancholy and moving. :o I have to agree with you here. I wanted to cry. It (in my opinion) was Data's best attempt at being human. I also love the Generations movie, his emotion chip going nuts was almost to funny. gul_nodrog 2 Posted July 22, 2004 What about Family? You know, the episode right after BOBW pt2 The scene where Picard breaks down in the vineyard telling his brother how the Borg violated him. That's a tear jerker for sure... Oh, my yes! I was just getting ready to add that to the fray here and then I found your post. That whole thing with Picard and his brother Robert ... Picard crying in the vineyard and then when they hug goodbye at the end. I hated what they did to Picard's family, though, in Generations. Now why did they have to kill off his family? Even if we never saw them again, it was nice to know that Picard had a "place" to be. So sad.
HRH The KING 0 Posted July 27, 2004 "Lower Decks" when Sito Jaxa is killed. Because it showed that there would be consequences on the ship when one of those anonymous "nobody" crew members die in various episodes. Like those poor red-shirted dudes in the Original Series. KIMIMELA 1 Posted August 4, 2004 (edited) Also the end of Nemesis was very sad. I cried and mourned and was very sad for days after. Data and Sito. WHY? I feel... What do you feel, Lal? I love you father! (Pause) I wish I could feel it with you. I will feel it for both of us. Thank you for my life I agree all the way ... but my friend says: Data fall down go beep beep Data in water go buzzzzzzzz *explode* Data in Nemesis go   :( I was so angry I ignored her for ages Edited August 4, 2004 by xXTrekkieCaraXx
Stephen of Borg 2 Posted September 13, 2005 I've been thinking about "The Inner Light" recently. I think that this is probably the saddest episode to me, especially with the message that Picard recieves from his "family". It was both sad and a twist I didn't see coming. Very well written, especially the silent moment at the end
Kor37 9 Posted September 13, 2005 I don't think "The Inner Light" is a sad episode at all. What an incredible experience for Picard to get to experience a whole other lifetime within just a few minutes and be able to retain the memories!
Validus 0 Posted October 8, 2005 "All Good Things..." Especially when Picard sits down at the end and says "I should've done this a long time ago."
KIMIMELA 1 Posted March 1, 2008 Loosing Tasha so early was harsh in my opinion. But it seemed like all throughout the first series, male species were fascinated by her. I wasn't sad I just thought that the episode was a bit dramatic... For some reason I always cried during "The Last Goodbye"
Takara_Soong 4 Posted March 1, 2008 (edited) For some reason I always cried during "The Last Goodbye" What episode is that? I don't recall any TNG episodes by that name. Season 1 had The Big Goodbye but I can't think of any reason to cry in that one. My note: Corrected season. Edited March 2, 2008 by Takara_Soong
KIMIMELA 1 Posted March 1, 2008 (edited) For some reason I always cried during "The Last Goodbye" What episode is that? I don't recall any TNG episodes by that name. Season 1 had The Big Goodbye but I can't think of any reason to cry in that one. Season 1, Episode 11: The Big Goodbye Original Air Date: 9 January 1988 Captain Picard and some of his crew are caught in a deadly trap in the holodeck as the result of a ship-wide scan from an alien race. Woops my bad. The Big Goodbye. It's when they say bye at the end. It's like reality... whatever we want for in life we all loose at the end. Just like a holodeck. Mod's note: Corrected error in my post that Cara quoted. Edited March 2, 2008 by Takara_Soong
