Never Ending Sentence

Ok, if you've never seen a Never Ending Sentence before this is how it works.

 

Someone starts a sentence and leaves it open, the next poster comes along and adds to the sentence and can shift the direction of the sentence in a completely different direction or in the same directin that it was going when they came onto it.

 

I've been a part of these on another message board and it can be a lot of fun. Kind of like an interactive story.

 

It doesn't have to be Star Trek related and can take any shape or form. Just type whatever you type and the next person on the sentence can continue from your ending point.

 

Just remember, it's a never ending sentence so don't put several sentences in it and don't use any periods

 

Since I have written several sentences here I won't start the NES here, I'll post another posting to start the sentence.

I consider myself a Trekker and the first time I used a Holodeck I

got stuck in there, which I suppose is to be expected, because...

the program I was running was a simulation of

got stuck in a feed-back loop and the program wouldn't end...

so I was sitting in the middle of some desert for hours when...

suddenly this talking dog appeared and said...

"I'm James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise" thus giving proof that

dogs will eventually enslave the human race...

this program had been seriously corrupted by...

those darn human-race enslaving dogs (who were very cute, by the way...deceptively so), and...

that they were attempting to take over the ship, but alas, I was still ....

sunburned from those hours in the desert...

and knowing that I needed to find water soon, but...

not knowing where to find it...

but then suddenly this road appeared in front of me and.....

to inherit the spirit of famous captains

then Porthos became

and I was completely confused...

but it was all sorted out in our weekly game of water polo

but then after we got out of the pool...

, and I had gotten that water I had so deparately craved,

An old, definitely non-insane admiral from starfleet who...

leads us to victory against the dogs

but then turned out to be insane...
