Luckily I haven't had a major obsession since I was in high school and I had a mad crush on the bassist of a band I knew. My long-running obsessions are books and music. Assuming I have nothing that needs to be done, I can finish a 600 page book in a day. And my music collection is huge. I have several thousand CD's and 40 gigs of music saved to my PC... which is run through a 20 year old reciever and into an older pair of large 3-way speakers. I love my audio jukebox, I can play it on random play for 143 days without hearing the same thing twice. I don't consider Trek to be an obsession. Right now it's more of a fascination.
